Enjoy a sweet and salty dessert with these Black Bean Boka Brownies. Packed with nutrients like protein, fiber, and iron, these brownies are perfect for a guilt free chocolate craving. The trick to making these the BEST brownies in the world is to incorporate as many chocolate chips as you can. This will make the brownie an ouey gouey goodness when warm.
1 can of Black Beans (rinsed and strained)
2 tbsp of Cocoa powder
1/2 cup of Quick oats
1/4 tsp of Salt
1/3 cup of Pure maple syrup
2 tbsp of Sugar
1/8 cup of Oil (we used avocado oil)
1/8 cup of Apple sauce
2 tsp of Pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of Baking powder
2/3 cup of Chocolate chips (or more!)
6 slices of Botanic Boka
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender, except the chocolate chips and the Botanic Boka. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
2. Stir in the chocolate chips.
3. Pour half of the batter into the molds (silicone molds give the best results). Add the Botanic Boka slices in the centre of the brownie and pour the rest of the batter into the molds.
4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
